Product Review: MUV Armband for iPhone 6 (4.7 inch)

Disclosure: I received this product as part of an advertorial.

I was going to try this iPhone 6 armband out my family member’s iPhone 6 but I learned that they have the bigger iPhone 6. I decided to try it with my iPhone 4. I my opinion, I thought it worked pretty nicely with my iPhone 4. It fit nicely into the slot to insert the phone into… the space to fit it in was just right. There was a little bit more space than a smaller iPhone 6 would take up but I could still press the buttons through the screen okay and it didn’t slip and slide around all that much.

The armband seemed kind of bulky for me to use while riding my exercise bike because I have petite wrists. It fit pretty loosely on my wrist even though there is an adjustment strap. I think maybe it’s made for people with bigger wrists. I think this armband would be great for me to use when I go to the swimming pool or beach though because it can rest nicely on my body when wearing it outside in the sun, or it can even be set down somewhere near me. It seems to add some protection against getting water and sand on the screen of the phone.

Product Review: Ultra Youth Eye Gel by Pure Body Naturals

Disclosure: I received this product as part of an advertorial.

Ultra Youth Eye Gel by Pure Body Naturals can help with dryness, puffiness, and dark circles in the eye area. The product label says it is 98% naturally derived and 75% organic.

This product did help the areas around my eyes. I do not notice any dark circles or lines (without smiling) in the eye area after using it for about two weeks and it looks pretty healthy to me. It did have a little bit of a scent to it when I put it on. I didn’t notice the scent after this product had been on awhile. When I used one pump’s worth of the product on each eye area my skin in those areas looked like plastic to me. When I shared one pump’s worth of the product on both of my eye areas it did not look like plastic, but like it had absorbed into my skin. I will be using it in the second way, so the product will absorb into my skin better. There were some days I didn’t put this on my skin to give it a rest and my skin around the eye area still looked healthy to me.

Product Review: Grazia Silicone Baking Cups

Disclosure: I received this product as part of an advertorial.

I was thrilled with the opportunity to try out and review these silicone baking cups! The package I received has 24 cups in them. They are purple, pink, yellow, and green neon colors...to me they are fun looking! I used them at first in a muffin pan without baking spray inside the cups. The muffins I made stuck to the cups a lot using them that way. Interestingly, I had purchased two muffin mixes that made six muffins each so I was able to use the baking cups again on a different day, this time using baking spray inside the baking cups. I loved the results of using them that way because they didn't stick to them and there were not many crumbs inside of them when the muffins were taken out.

Another thing that I love about these baking cups is that they washed nicely in my dishwasher. I was able to put about 3 at a time in the silverware tray section of my dishwasher at a slanted angle, along with the silverware. One thing people will need to be careful of is not to accidentally throw the baking cups away after the food inside of them is eaten. I think people that eat something inside of them and don't understand they are washable might accidently do that if they are not told they are reusable.

I am happy with my experience of using these baking cups!

Product Review: Cellulite Cream by InstaNatural

Disclosure: I received this product as part of an advertorial.

Cellulite Cream by InstaNatural reduced the appearance of dimples in my skin. It looks like my skin is tighter and healthier in those areas! It also feels and looks smoother.

I used this product once a day on the affected areas, instead of two times a day that the directions on the product label recommended. The product had a little bit of a scent to it. Although the smell mostly went away after I applied the product to my skin, I was concerned people would be able to smell it. It wasn’t a bad smell to me; I just know some people are sensitive to products with scents to them. This allowed me to use this product longer and I noticed gradual changes to my skin.

I cannot imagine not using this product on my skin now because of the good changes it made to it! There are some organic products listed in the ingredients, along with other ingredients that sound healthy to me, which gave me more confidence that it is probably healthy for my skin.

Product Review: Peppermint Oil by Pure Body Naturals

Disclosure: I received this product as part of an advertorial.

I loved the smell of this Peppermint Oil by Pure Body Naturals! I used a few drops of this product in my bath water, dropping it into the water with the dropper included. My skin had a pepper-minty smell afterwards.

Sometimes essential oils burn my skin when used in bath water. I didn’t really have that experience with this oil. It could’ve been because I didn’t use as much (a few drops of this product versus a small capful of the other oil I have used that burned my skin). After about five minutes, I started to feel like it might be starting to burn my skin and I got out of the water. I didn’t notice any redness anywhere.

I also just opened the bottle of this Peppermint oil and smelled it at times, because the fragrance is supposed to help relieve respiratory problems, and sometimes I have those problems in the winter. It did feel like it opened my respiratory system better, and maybe even made it clearer in some ways.

Product Review: Lemon Oil by Pure Body Naturals

Disclosure: I received this product as part of an advertorial.

This is the first time I remember using an essential oil so I wasn’t totally sure how to use it. The product label for this lemon oil sounded like it would be okay if I used it in bath water, which I did. I wasn’t sure how much to use so I used a small capful of it. After being in the bathwater a few minutes or so, I felt my skin burning a little bit. I didn’t think much of it. Then I felt my skin burning in some other places, and it felt more intense. My skin looked like it had been sunburned in different places, such as my back and my legs. I believe this happened because I wasn’t aware how to use this product, or how much of it. If I would’ve put a few drops in my bath water with the dropper included I probably would’ve had a different experience. I put some cream on the affected areas on my body and the redness went away within about an hour or two. It was a live and learn experience for me. I don’t think it will cause me to stop trying out other essential oils, or continuing to use this one in a different way(s) if I am given the opportunity to do so. In fact, I later had a different experience with this product, using it in a different way:

I put a few drops of this oil in my sink on a different day. I put the drops inside the faucet drain. The room now smells kind of lemony and clean. This is probably how I will use this oil from now on, as kind of an air freshener.

Product Review: Stretch Mark and Scar Cream by InstaNatural

Disclosure: I received this product as part of an advertorial.

I used Stretch Mark and Scar Cream by InstaNatural on some stretch marks I acquired over the years from gaining and losing weight.

This product didn’t completely take away my stretch marks but I think it reduced the appearance of them. If I used this product twice a day like the directions stated, it might have reduced the appearance of them more. I used this on my skin in the affected areas at night because I thought people I was around might be sensitive to the smell if I used it during the day. I really only noticed a scent when I put the product on though. It smelled like butter to me; this product has mango butter in it which was probably why. I might use this product during the day on days when I don’t have to go anywhere and again at night to see if it will reduce the appearance of the stretch marks even more.

Product Review: Seaweed Powder by InstaNatural

Disclosure: I received this product as part of an advertorial.

This was my first experience with using Seaweed powder that I remember. I was surprised to see such a big container of it when I opened the package it was shipped in. I think it will definitely go a long way. I was also happy to learn that 100% natural and Kosher certified seaweed powder was used, and that it's certified organic.

There were some recommendations of using this product different ways on the product label (cellulite scrub, facial mask, facial scrub, seaweed body wrap). I decided to use it as a seaweed body wrap first because I had all the ingredients needed for that (this seaweed powder, water, olive oil). I took the suggestion of putting it on in the shower because it looked messy and it was. It was a challenge for me to wrap myself in plastic wrap after I applied the body wrap and I found it (the body wrap mixture and plastic wrap) coming off in some places. I let the product set for about a half an hour with the plastic wrap wrapped around me and a sweat suit on. I felt cleaner when I washed the seaweed powder off but other than that I had a hard time noticing if it did anything different to my skin other than making it feel softer. Again, I am new to the experience of using Seaweed powder. It probably did a lot of other things to my skin that I didn't notice, like reducing cellulite.

I tried this product again another day on my face. I just used the Seaweed powder and water because I didn't have any Aloe Vera gel to combine it with the powder and honey. I hoped that would work out okay even though I didn't see any directions on the product label explaining to do it that way. My facial skin felt and looked very clean and purified pretty much right after I washed it off my face. My skin looked red in some places on my face as soon as I had washed the Seaweed powder off of it. It cleared up soon after though.

I probably won't use this product as a body wrap again, only because I don't think I'm a body wrap person for Seaweed powder. I will probably use it on my facial skin though because I liked that experience much better.

Product Review: Retinol Moisturizer by InstaNatural

Disclosure: I received this product as part of an
advertorial.

Retinol Moisturizer by InstaNatural uses antioxidant power and other healthy ingredients to transform damaged and older skin into a healthier, younger looking appearance.

I put this product on after a retinol serum (also by InstaNatural). It felt like it took any dryness I had away instantly after having no products on my face for about 12 or more hours, after I cleaned my skin the night before. It didn't look oily like I have experienced with retinol before. It (probably in conjunction with the retinol serum) seemed to give kind of a boost to my skin, making it look and feel full and smooth. My skin feels soft since using it also. I didn't notice much of a smell to the product. I believe the retinol serum I used under this product was a great compliment to it.

The ingredients label lists some organic ingredients in the product. The rest of the ingredients sound healthy so I'm trusting this is a safe product for my skin, and hopefully other people's skin also.

Product Review: Retinol Serum by InstaNatural

Disclosure: I received this product as part of an advertorial.

Retinol Serum by InstaNatural is an age-defying retinol serum containing nutrients and anti-oxidants to nourish the skin, to help it look younger.

I put this product on before a retinol moisturizer and it seemed to absorb right into my skin. It didn't look oily like I have experienced with retinol before. It (probably in conjunction with the retinol moisturizer I also used by InstaNatural) seemed to give kind of a boost to my skin, making it look and feel full and smooth. My skin feels soft since using it also. It did have a little bit of a smell when I put it on my skin. After I put it on I didn't notice any smell though. Product Review: Hyaluronic Acid Serum by Amara Organics

Disclosure: I received this product as part of an advertorial.

Hyaluronic Acid Serum by Amara Organics helped smooth my skin. I did not notice any wrinkles or lines on my face when I was using it. I believe it also plumped my skin and softened it; I especially noticed it plumped it around my eye and cheek bone areas.

I liked the product bottle it came in, which is a 1 fl oz bottle with a spray dispenser. It dispensed a small amount of the product at a time, with the amount that I believe is supposed to be used at one time on the facial area. There were times I believed I used more than one spray of this product when it seemed like one spray’s worth of the product didn’t cover my entire face.

The label on the bottle says it is 98% naturally derived and 72% organic.

Product Review: 100% Pure Argan Oil by Foxbrim

Disclosure: I received this product as part of an advertorial.

100% Pure Argan Oil by Foxbrim caused my hair to look and feel silky! I left it in my hair for about 30 minutes before I shampooed it out. It was not as easy to comb through as other oils have been that I have used in my hair. I liked that it was softer and silkier after I blew it dry and curled it though. I used this product about three times while trying it out. I could still see the effects of this product about two to three days after I used it. I also liked that this product is certified organic because it makes me feel like I am putting something healthy and safe in my hair.
